ABOUT ME

We have 4 kids. Ethan (17), Emersyn (15), Edyn (9), and Kingston (3).. We live in a suburb of Houston, Texas called The Woodlands. It’s been good to us for the past 10 years but I am very ready for a change.. My wanderlust has been lusting hard the past couple years.. So hopefully there are new adventures to be had on the horizon!

I used to blog.. I did it for years.. And then instagram came along and there went my blog!! In my old blog I would blog about my home..my kids.. my life.. I’m not expecting this one to be much different.. Although, home stuff will probably dominate..

Speaking of home.. I am a legit homebody.. A homebody with wanderlust.. If that’s a thing.. I love just being at home.. I think that’s why I enjoy decorating so much. I like to be surrounded by pretty things… pretty things that inspire me.. I grew up flipping through my gran’s decor magazines.. Like Country Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Southern Living.. If she had it.. I looked at it! I would go over to her house and we would rearrange furniture.. she had the same furniture for years.. And her home always looked so pretty!

I’m not a designer, at least I don’t think of myself as one, but Mike and I have been renovating our homes before it was the cool thing to do! He’s the brains and brawn.. My in-house handy mann and I’m just the idea girl! It totally works!

One day I hope to have our home featured in a magazine.. That would be a dream come true.. Until then I’ll just be over here full of ideas and hoping my handy mann can bring them to life!
